Medical Assistants fill many roles—maintaining records, performing routine office lab procedures and screenings, and assisting with examinations and treatments. Graduates may find themselves working in clinics, emergency medical centers or physicians’ offices. The Medical Assistant Certificate Program prepares the student to assist the physician in performing selected diagnostic tests as well as business office procedures.

Students applying for the Medical Assistant Program must go through a separate application process after being admitted to the college.
