The Management Program prepares the student to perform the basic functions of management including planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling. Students also develop skills enabling them to communicate effectively using both written and verbal formats; develop and apply business ethics in managerial decision making; analyze and perform accounting operations; recognize and apply legal principles as they relate to business crimes, torts, and contracts; apply the principles of economics to business; and apply the principles of human resource management to the development of a competent business staff.
