We are delighted that you have chosen to further your education at Aiken Technical College.

As you begin your educational journey with ATC, it is vital that you have an understanding of the College, available support services, and your rights, responsibilities, and academic expectations as a student.

To help you have a successful start, please complete the online orientation and plan to attend an ARISE new student information session.

Online New Student Orientation

To ensure your success, we require students attending ATC for the first time to complete an online orientation prior to beginning their courses. The online orientation takes about 30 minutes to complete.

The Department of Student Engagement hosts ARISE new student information sessions prior to the start of each term to help our newest Knights prepare for success!

Spring 2025 Sessions (choose one):

• Monday, January 6: 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

• Tuesday, January 7: 9 a.m. to Noon

The ARISE sessions cover the following topics:

• Academic Support (Tutoring Services)

• Readiness (Academic Coaching)

• Information Technology (Tech Check)

• Student Services (Wellness and Accessibility)

• Engagement (Student Activities)

Participants will also receive a campus tour. Refreshments will be served.
