Semester Start Dates
Summer 2022 classes will start Monday, May 10. Fall 2022 classes will begin Monday, August 22. Below are important dates:

• May 5: Summer New Student Orientation
• May 9: Summer 2022 term 1 classes begin
• June 1: Financial aid application priority deadline for Fall 2022
• June 6: Summer 2022 term 2 classes begin
• July 1: Financial aid file completion priority deadline for Fall 2022
• August 18: Fall New Student Orientation
• August 22: Fall 2022 terms 1 and 2 classes begin

Applying to ATC
It is free to apply to Aiken Technical College! Complete the online application here. Learn more about the Steps to Enrollment here.

New students should begin the enrollment process with an Enrollment Advisor. During this initial interaction with the Enrollment Advisor, the student and advisor will discuss testing, programs, and next steps. Those taking the Accuplacer placement test can find tips and study information on the Test Center's Accuplacer page.

Most students will move on from the Enrollment Advisor to a faculty advisor for full academic advisement and registration.

Enrolling at ATC
Enrolling at Aiken Technical College is easy! Visit our Enrollment Services page to find the steps to enrollment. Our Registration Information page provides information about the registration process.

Students must meet with their advisors before registering. You can find your advisor information on your MyATC Portal. For more information, contact the Enrollment Services Center at (803) 508-7263.

Financial Aid Options
Aiken Technical College offers many financial aid options including grants, loans, and scholarships.

Those enrolling for Summer 2022 should complete the 2021-22 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov. Those enrolling for Fall 2022 should complete the 2022-23 FAFSA form. Check your email or mail for further information regarding your financial aid package. You may be asked to submit additional forms or documentation. Financial aid forms are available online.

South Carolina residents enrolled in six credit hours or more may be eligible for SC Lottery Tuition Assistance. This grant is not need- or income-based. Students qualifying for Lottery Tuition Assistance may also be eligible for SC WINS funding based on their program of study or income.

New Student Orientation
The Summer 2022 New Student Orientation will be held on May 5. The Fall 2022 New Student Orientation will be held on August 18. New Student Orientation is an opportunity to learn about the resources available to you as a student, student engagement activities, meet faculty and staff, and more! More details to be announced.
