Mended Hearts' Gift to Benefit Aiken Technical College Nursing Program

A recent gift from Aiken Mended Hearts Chapter 294 to the nursing program at Aiken Technical College will aid in providing students with hands-on training as they complete their studies. The $4,000 gift will go toward needed supplies for the 2022-2023 academic year.

“The costs of program supplies have increased, and this is a welcomed gift to support the program so that additional costs are not passed onto the nursing students,” said Aiken Technical College Foundation (ATC Foundation) Director Beth LaClair, Ph.D. “We appreciate the continued support Mended Hearts has provided our students over the past 15 years.”

Since 2007, Mended Hearts has donated nearly $80,000 to support the college’s nursing program and students.

The ATC Foundation offers several ways individuals, organizations, and businesses can support the college and students. For more information about the opportunities, please visit https://www.atc.edu/Foundation/Give or contact Dr. LaClair at atcfoundation@atc.edu.
