Continuing Education: OSHA-10 Training

The OSHA-10 training course provides entry-level general industry workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job-related hazards on a job site.

The training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards, which a worker may encounter. Training will emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention. The course is taught by an authorized OSHA Outreach trainer.

The course will be held on June 10-11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Participants must attend both days. The course is free for South Carolina residents and $300 for out-of-state residents.

Aiken Tech to offer tower technician training course this fall

Skilled, certified tower technicians are critical in supporting the telecommunications industry. As 5G, broadband, and fiber projects expand and increase, so does the need for this workforce.

To help address this workforce need, Aiken Technical College is offering a certified tower technician course from October 13-25.
