Continuing Education: OSHA 10 Course
The OSHA-10 training course provides entry-level general industry workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job-related hazards on a job site.
The training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards that a worker may encounter. Training will emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention. The course is taught by an authorized OSHA Outreach trainer.
The course will be held on September 19-21, from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and from 5:30-8 p.m. on Thursday. (Participants must attend each day.) The course is free for South Carolina residents and $300 for out-of-state residents.
