Continuing Education: CDL Training Class A 2025 Course Dates

Aiken Technical College has partnered with Ancora Training to offer the CDL Training: Class A Tractor Trailer program.  Program participants will learn about:

  • vehicle inspections

  • defensive driving

  • range maneuvers

  • motor carrier safety regulations

  • trip planning

  • cargo handling

  • size/weight laws

  • general maintenance procedures

  • house of service

  • accident prevention

 

To register for a course, please follow the below steps:

  1. Register with Ancora at ancoraed.com/atc.

  2. Complete your physical and drug screen. Your welcome packet from Ancora Training will contain all the information you need to schedule these appointments.

  3. Begin studying for your Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP). Your CLP is required; refer to your packet from Ancora for more information.

  4. Email the Aiken Technical College Continuing Education Department at conted@atc.edu to register with the college or to learn more about the program.

Daytime courses are held Monday-Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the course period.
