Aiken Technical College Early Campus Closure for Aug. 30 and Delayed Start for Aug. 31

Aiken Technical College on-campus operations will close today, Wednesday, August 30, at 3 p.m.

On-campus operations and on-campus classes will have a delayed start on Thursday, August 31, resuming at 10:30 a.m.

Aiken Tech is following the campus closure and reopening schedule in compliance with Aiken County government in response to predicated impacts from Hurricane Idalia.

Students who have on-campus classes scheduled after 3 p.m. today (Wednesday) and before 10:30 a.m. on Thursday will follow the guidance of their instructor(s).

Online classes will continue as scheduled.

Students who have questions about their classes or class operation status should contact their instructor(s).

Employees scheduled to work on campus today, Wednesday, should plan to continue work until 3 p.m. or their usual work end time. Those scheduled to work on campus on Thursday, August 31 should plan to report to campus at 10:30 a.m.

Employees scheduled to telecommute on Wednesday, August 30 or Thursday, August 31 should continue to work their normally scheduled work hours.

Employees should contact their supervisor with any questions.
