Aiken Tech receives Medallion Awards from NCMPR

Aiken Technical College’s Office of Marketing and Communications has won three Medallion Awards from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations.

Medallion Awards recognize community and technical colleges in each of the organization’s region districts for “outstanding achievement in design and communication,” according to NCMPR.

Aiken Tech received the following 2024 Medallion Awards:

  • Bronze Award in the Excellence in Writing-Long Form category for the article on Megyn Bolen, a dual enrollment student at Aiken Tech, and

  • Bronze Award in the Outdoor Signage/Displays category for its stacked “Take on the Knight” billboard design in collaboration with World Design Marketing.

“It is an honor to have our work recognized by our peers and higher ed marcom experts as being among the best in our region,” said Aiken Tech’s Director of Marketing and Communications Nikasha Dicks.

Aiken Tech is located in District 2, which includes 11 southeastern states plus Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas.
