Aiken Tech alum to be keynote speaker for 2023 Commencement Ceremony
Aiken Technical College (Aiken Tech) has announced Rysheeka N. Bush, a community leader and Aiken Tech alumna, as its keynote speaker for the 2023 Commencement Ceremony.
The ceremony will be on Tuesday, May 2, at 7 p.m. at the University of South Carolina Aiken (USC Aiken) Convocation Center, 2049 Champion Way, Graniteville.
Bush has been employed with Helping Hands, Inc. for over 20 years. In her role as the Clinical Program Manager, she oversees the clinical needs of youth in placement and therapeutic training needs of staff.
She is also highly engaged in the community through service on several boards and as a member of the Rotary Club of Aiken Sunrise. She is currently the District Governor Nominee for Rotary District 7750.
Bush earned Associate in Arts and human service degrees from Aiken Tech. She then attended USC Aiken, earning dual bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology and a master’s in applied clinical psychology. She is also a licensed professional counselor in the state of South Carolina.
More than 540 graduates are eligible to participate in the ceremony. The College will also recognize its 2022-2023 faculty and staff members of the year during the ceremony.
