Business management grad's hobby leads to creating publishing company

First-generation college student Bianca Brooks never had the “College Talk,” but that didn’t stop her from completing the Business Management program at Aiken Technical College in December of 2023. She looks forward to walking across the stage in April and showing her two children, Kimora and Michael, that the sky’s the limit!

As a senior in high school, Joe Deskevich enrolled in the CompTIA Security+ certification course offered by Aiken Technical College’s (ATC) Continuing Education (non-credit) division. Despite being the youngest among his peers, Joe embraced the challenge with unwavering determination. The transition from self-learning to structured education was invigorating, with an instructor guiding him through the complexities of cyber defense.

Aiken Technical College announces speaker for its 2024 Commencement Ceremony

Aiken Technical College has announced Dr. Ronald L. Rhames, president of Midlands Technical College, will be the keynote speaker for the 2024 Commencement Ceremony. The ceremony will be on Tuesday, April 30, at 7 p.m. at the University of South Carolina Aiken Convocation Center, 2049 Champion Way, Graniteville.
